Bari Tee
The Bari Tee pairs luxurious baby yak and silk yarn with a simple texture for pleasant, relaxing knitting. The light, shawl-like fabric makes a drapey piece that can be layered or worn on its own.

Needles
Main Fabric Needle: Suggested size US 5/3.75 mm, 32” circular or preferred needle for flat knitting plus a spare needle in the same size (for Modified Three-Needle Bind Off)
Ribbing Needle: Suggested size US 3/3.25 mm, 32” circular or preferred needle for flat knitting
Neckband Needle: Suggested size US 3/3.25 mm, 16” circular
Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Marker (m); removable m or knitter’s pins; stitch holders or spare circular needles; tapestry needle.
Gauge 22 sts and 36 rows = 4” in Seedling Stitch on larger needle.

Front and back pieces are worked back and forth from the bottom up.
Shoulders are joined used a decorative Modified Three-Needle Bind Off then sleeves are picked up from the body pieces and knit flat towards the cuff.
Side and underarm seams are sewn with mattress stitch and a minimal ribbed collar is picked up from the neck edge and worked in the round.
Circular needles are used to accommodate the large number of stitches but knitter’s preferred needle for flat knitting may be substituted.
Throughout, Right and Left Shoulder refers to the garment as it is worn, not as it may appear when knitting.
Keep one stitch at each edge in garter stitch for selvedge to aid with blocking and seaming.
