Lady Yak
Lady Yak is intended as a sleek, modern wardrobe essential. It features a long, lean silhouette, a flattering ribbed detail at the side seams and a wide-set, asymmetrical fold-over collar that frames the face and neck. The pattern also features full-fashioned shoulder shaping and the collar is attached separately after the sweater is assembled using a backstitch (see tutorial information below). Although it can be knit in any worsted weigh yarn, the simplicity of the design is the perfect showcase for luxurious fibers with drape or halo.
YARN
Approximately 1050 (1100, 1200, 1250, 1350, 1400, 1450, 1550) yards (960 (1010, 1100, 1150, 1250, 1300, 1350, 1400) meters) worsted weight yarn
8 (8, 9, 9, 10, 10, 11, 11) skeins Lang Yak (50% Yak, 50% Virgin Wool; approximately 142 yds (130 m/50 g).

Please note that Lang has reformulated their Yak yarn to be 70% merino and 30% yak but it is still available. mYak 100% baby yak would also be a gorgeous choice.
GAUGE
18.5 stitches and 26 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch with gauge needle, relaxed after blocking
25 stitches and 28 rows = 4” in 2x2 rib with ribbing needle, relaxed after blocking
