CONSTRUCTION OVERVIEW
Byrne is a simple, allover ribbed hat with a roll-up brim. A five-point crown makes it just a little bit out of the ordinary but still provides a well-rounded shape. Hat begins at brim with a Long-Tail Cast-On and is shaped with single decreases. Both written and charted instructions are included.

To fit an adult head circumference of about 18-19 (20-21, 22-23)“ / 46-49 (50-54, 55-58) cm

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Brim Circumference (unstretched): 18 ½“ / 47 cm
Total Length:10 ¼ (10 ¾, 11 ¾)” / 26 (27.5, 30) cm
Length with Brim rolled: 7 ¼ (7 ¾, 8 ¾)“ / 18.5 (19.5, 22) cm
NOTE: Rib fabric will stretch to fit most adult head sizes. All sizes use the same unstretched brim circumference. Lengths are adjusted to give the hat a proper fit.

Harrisville Nightshades/Daylights (DK weight)
85% Cormo Wool; 15% wool
250 yards per 100 g skein
1 skein or 170 (180, 200) yards of DK weight yarn
Sample shown in Nightshades color Cinder

NEEDLES
Main Fabric Needle: US 4 (3.5 mm): 16” circular and dpns or 32” for working magic loop

GAUGE
26 sts and 31 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in 2x2 Rib on Main Fabric Needle, after wet-blocking
Adjust your needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
